New lens. New attitude.

I recently added a new lens to my camera bag and it’s given me a new attitude, along with the new perspective. I’ve been shooting some artwork for the Florida Craftsmen Gallery and when it comes to jewelry, you’ve gotta get close, so I picked up a Nikon 60mm f/2.8 Micro from Adorama. It’s dead sharp and allows you to shoot within 6″ of your subject.. And at a length of 60mm, it’s great for portraits….

My first shoot with this lens was with a talented young model named Micky from Prodigy Models. Great bone structure, nice style and a positive attitude. With the touch of Aveda makeup and some Control Force hairspray, we created a few great looks in about an hour. Images below..
